Ebay Postage

I listed (and just sold) a rather large item.  170cm Long and 1.5kgs.

When I started my listing, the Ebay software filled in all the details for me, saving me a huge amount of time and even calculated the postage (with Australia Post).

Now my item has sold and been paid for, Ebay has redirected me to Sendle.  Sendle now tell me the package is too long, they will not take it and neither will Australia Post! I have recived only $25.80 for postage which looks like I may end up needing a courier at a much greater expense, through no fault of mine.

Can anyone please advise me of what to do?

Not exactly  No fault of yours,  you need to make yourself aware of what and how you can ship,  170cm is that far over postage limits, that it is not funny.
