Hi just after a bit of advice.... I purchased an ipad Monday last week 5/11 using buy it now. I emailed the seller prior to purchasing to see if it could be sent express post as I wanted it for my daughters' birthday on the Wednesday 7/11, so she could take it on a holiday we were leaving for on the Thursday (the listing said registered) and they said yes absolutely fine. I am outside of the next day delivery network so assumed it would take 2 days. It didn't arrive by Wednesday so I emailed the seller again to ask if it had been sent express as it was coming up on My Ebay as being sent registered and estimated delivery time was 13/11. They said yes it has been sent express not registered. Anyway....Arrived home from our holiday last night and package was delivered today 13/11. It had been sent registered and NOT express as agreed! So I have emailed the seller and told them I'm not happy and they said they asked the post office to send it express, so if it has been sent registered instead then it is AP's fault and I should take it up with Australia Post! So basically I just want to know if there's anything I can do? I was under the impression it is the seller's responsibility to ensure the parcel is sent correctly. I am happy it arrived safely but it was a week late for my daughter's birthday. Thanks in advance x
