I had a refund request was approved for a purchase not as advertised. The item was sent to the seller and delivered according to Ebay, with a refund to follow within 2 days. Ten days later no refund, where do we go for help next?? Any advice, thanks
Did you actually open a dispute through eBay ? If so the seller should have sent you a return postage label if they are in Australia.
Have you checked both your bank account and Paypal for the refund ?
Have you contacted the seller ? What did they say ?
I'm in the same boat, didn't open a return item (dispute) as there was good communication up until the item was received back and a promise of a refund... still waiting. Missed the cut off date by 1 day to start a case and there no way of contacting eBay for any help. Guess it's a case of live and learn!
Please give us more details. Like others, I just hope you didn't send back the item without opening a case (a return request).
Assuming you opened a dispute (aka refund request), you will have the option to ask eBay to step in.
I hope you opened the official refund request and sent back the item using the label provided, ensured that the tracking number was recorded in the dispute, and thus the delivery status was shown within the dispute.
I hope you have not closed the dispute.
