I was so close to paying for it the first time, only twigged when the bank account was in London and a under a different name, Now it is on again and yet again another sellers I.D.

Purchased an item, went with kind help from seller. Both agreed to cancel order. Seller has relisted. Now get ebay message saying seller opened case re unpaid item. Contacted seller, she knows nothing about it, she did not open any case as she knew she had cancelled the order. Why does ebay open cases when neither parties know nothing about it. I do not think it is fair as can put a black mark against the buyer if they appear to have not paid for a purchased item, which was cancelled the next day under the discussion to advised and i agreed to cancel the order to save paying postage to and return when we knew it wouldnt fit. Should this be allowed for ebay to do this and how did anyone solve it. thanks.

Anyone suggest a way to avoid multi listings in serches ie the ones that show a watch with a 99c price, but when you open it you get a drop down list for a 99c battery, but the watch you were acually looking at is $80. I know this is an ebay marketing scam but it really **bleep** me and I can't find a way to avoid it.

How do commercial sellers make money out of 99c auctions, you know the ones where you've got absolutly no chance of actually winning it for less that actual value, even though there only 1 other bidder? I see many sellers with multiple items 99c, usually with 1 bid I'm assuming is buy the seller at close to actual value. What I don't understand is how this tactic works. Even if a few people bid on the items at a few dollars, then won't the seller incure selling costs? Does this really work out to be cost effective, or is there some way they're not paying the fees? As an example I was looking at phones today, seller had 30+ phones all listed at 99c. I could put $50 bids on each and know I would be imeadiatly outbid?

we run a print shop in ebay.com.au. An UK buyer came cross to buy our plastic business cards. we got his file, create a proof to show him and printed and express post to him. the fee is $85 + express postage $50 After 10 days buyer received the card and open a refund said item not descripted as it is not good enough in colour. we show the proof he approval and his origianl file and finish product. it is exace the same. we told him this is custom made it is pointeless to return to us. we have 100% feedback and have been sold over 30 orders to other buyers Anyone can help this case. Buyer can use any reason said item is NOT described and return custom printed cards. The worst is we have to pay for the return postage or we lose $135 and buyer get the cards for free. our ID robianprint buyer ID worre-richc

Hi, I have a whole bunch of makeup that I can't list because eBay is claiming my pictures are "too small", even when I crop them in photoshop and upload the cropped version. The cropped version is 1064x1064 at 300 DPI. eBay chat are claiming it is under 500px. As you can clearly see below, IT IS NOT. I am about giving up on listing these items due to the stupid argument I Had with a chat representative who just contradicted me and that eBay won't accept my images that are above standard. But I do not otherwise know what to do?

Re: wyewye has sent a question about item, ending on 27-Aug-16 10:00:04 AEST - Sennheiser Set TV 840 Headset plus Accessories I did bid on your item with confidence given your assurance that the item had been tested in perfect working order. The damage is certainly not occasioned in transit but (with adjoining scratches) is obviously long-term wear and tear damage which would have been visible to anybody examining it prior to listing. I will return the parcel to you as soon as I receive a credit of $71.00 (my purchase costs including $15 postage) together with return postage costs of $15 = $86.00 into my paypal account. You will appreciate that otherwise it will have cost me $30 for postage and I am left with nothing!! Alternatively you may choose to credit the $71.00 and I will "bin" the item which is damaged and not suitable for you to on-sell to another eBay customer. Ho can I reduce my fees on eBay? Are subtitles billed every month, or just once? My fees have increased significantly ove rthe past 2-3 months, but income has stayed relatively the same,due to the higher fees.(Fee's went from $270ea month to a jump of around $480ea month) And im wondering why the difference so quickly? How can i help reduce fees, or maintain a relative slow progression to paying eBay fees,rather than the signifcant increase & change ive seen quickly? Can some one help me.I have analalysed my fee account,& the only thing that seems constant is the insertion fee of $0.50 for each listing,for approx 90 listings.But i have received a $45 fee discount. I advertise my products, is it this advertising fee thats creating the higher fees?? I hope someone can help...

I am new to selling on ebay. Every time I draft an ad I end up sitting for ages staring at the spinning 'loading' wheel for photos. The photos have been scaled down to around 30-40KB each, is that too big?
