0 Feedback New Members with Fake Bids

It seems a trend of late is to have heaps of extremely high bids from New Members with 0 Feedback who have usually only joined in the past few days, or have been a Member for several years and never brought a thing.

This has happened on 3 items I've sold or selling in the past fortnight, does anybody else seem to get these type members bidding?

They are a complete pain in the butt, so unfortunately now anybody who has 0 feedback and appear to meet the aforementioned criteria I simply block from bidding.

There must be some very strange eNerds with no lives and nothing better to do with their time.

Put in place the blocks to stop unverified members from bidding.

If they are fake buyers they will not have their account verified.

To put any blocks in place hover your mouse over account in your my eBay page and from the drop down click on Site Preferences then go down the list till you see Buyer requirements and to the right of that click on show then click on edit. From there you can put in place the blocks you want, to stop those you want to block from purchasing from you.

All my items are BIN. Saves a lot of hassles. Unless of course your items are rare or collectible.

We get a lot of these 0-FB buyers who never pay too.

Mostly on auctions when we list them. Only do that if ebay give away free listings.

Even on our BIN listings they buy and rarley pay. Gotta wonder why they do it.

Anyway we just raise a UI case and move on. No worries!

We had one strange one a little while back. Her FB score was under 5.

She bought a BIN item. No payment and no response.

We rasied the UI case after 4th day. Still nothing.

On the 4th day later the case closes, and she comes right back the same day and buys the very same item again.

Same cycle again as above. No response, no payment. Case closed.

Never came back again as we have our 2-strikes blocks in place.

Why would somebody waste their time (and ours) to do this? Very odd behaviour.

which is why is it very important to put the bidders name on your Block Bidder List immediately you open the dispute.
