Remember to try it every day for a while, it may start working, even though you might not get the email, or the email will be coming days later. This has been the case for me a number of times in the past.
It also worked for me when someone said to try reloading the page several times... like 5 not working, then on the 6th reload it worked, all within several seconds. Odd, but only ever worked that way once.

Same with me ... and it starts on different dates for different people. This one starts on Saturday for me.
Thanks so much for posting.

Didnt work for me when first posted, ( got the "offer expired" message ) but worked today thanks. Starts for me on the 20th, ending 29th. It pays to keep trying if you get the expired message as different sellers seem to be on a different rotation regards dates with this offer.
As always many thanks Dot for sharing.....

I've now been trying it twice a day for the last 2.5 months and it's still expired.

Has anyone who initially recieved the " Invitation only" message managed to access the link at a later date ????
Just a suggestion as to how it may work -
My guess is that the offer is only available to some sellers who meet some mysterious defined criteria that ebay has devised. These sellers may be able to access the offer every 30 days on a rolling basis, if they still meet the hidden criteria. ( some may drop out of the defined criteria over 30 days and may no longer be eligable )
These eligable sellers could be recieving the " offer expired " message until their rolling 30 days is up at which point the offer becomes active again.
Those who recieve the "invitation only" message may not meet the hidden criteria and will not be able to access the offer until their circumstances change and over a 30 day period they meet the criteria.
This may take months and for some may never occur.
I mentioned a theory in another previous thread on the subject that the offer may be designed for those sellers who dont recieve the 3 free relists due to sales exceeding a certain threshold ( around $10,000 - $12,000 per year ) , but another experienced seller presented some contrary advice on this.
If the theory where to stand it would explain a lot, as it would compensate those with good sales from being disadvantaged by not recieving the three free relists. Of couse ebay could change the criteria of the offer for a short period to also target new sellers, or those who had made many purchases, but never sold, just as a once off promotion, further muddying the waters for those interested in how this offer actually works.
Does anyone who recieves the 3 free relists also have access to this offer on a regular basis ?

I know someone who gets 2664 every month on one ID but not the other. She gets the free relists on both IDs and she sells a lot more on the ID that gets the 2664 offer. She has two selling IDs and has never had a store.
She sells for a few months and then takes a month or two off, but so far still gets 2664, so if it drops off due to lack of sales they obviously don't base it on the last month alone. Last time she listed she hardly sold anything (she reduced a lot of prices to clear stock and usually gets lots of sales when she does that so we think it's due to appalling category changes) so she's wondering whether she'll continue to get 2664 much longer.
One thing she does is always accept extra offers, even if she doesn't plan to use them. I don't know whether that makes any difference but we both thought that perhaps ebay will stop giving them to us if we don't use some of them. They could track how many people accept them but never use them, but there's no way we'll ever know. I'm guilty of not using a lot of the extra freebies, and even of the 40 on one ID, but while my main ID is busy I see no point in pushing myself to list much on the other ID.
I think trying to analyse some of ebay's actions might be a waste of time because they don't seem to be consistent in a lot of things, but I too can't help doing it.

I have managed to get the offer every month except one month when I had not used many of my 40 regular freebies.
This month I delibrately relisted a few items and used some of my 40 freebies a couple of days before I thought I would be eligable for 2664 so that the account had some recent listing activity. This seemed to work as I still have 27 of the 40 regular freebies left, but again was fortunate to be able to activate 2664.
When I recieve this offer I always use the whole lot, either for listing reasonable numbers of new listings and also relisting unsold items. My monthly sales are above the threshold to recieve the 3 free relists, although they are down around 25% this month on the normal average. I plan to do around 50 - 60 new listings in the next week or so including auctions and would expect a number of these to sell. I have had some good results ending auctions on the days between christmas and new year in the past, so will be fully listed and active over this period.
