Having lodged a complaint against Pay Pal and Ebay in regards to illegally freezing funds and also referring the matter to the privacy commisioner. The Financial Services Ombudsman also wants to hear about accounts where funds have been placed under the 21 day hold. Their office is anticipating an across board deluge of complaints and they wish to be advised of individual cases as believe this is a breach of law.

OK, but maybe you could have picked your target better. I am sure there are plenty of unnecessary bumps as CQ said.
For the record, in the 29 days that this thread has been running I have posted 16 times....11 of those posts were to give information to other posters and just 5 were exclusively to bump the thread to the top from at least half way down the page so new members could find it easily in the morning.

GETTING ANGRY.
on the phone for 21 minutes.
APPARENTY every seller, EVERYWHERE, has same thing, wait for either 21 days OR for proof of item being recieved.
I pointed out above comment from black eye
The Lady dodged repeatedly.
She wanted to double check every tracking number I provided and wouldnt listen that it was beside the point.
I argued that they were holding my money, which i had to use part of at least for posting the items. She said "We do not hold your money"
I replied, "who does then? becase I don't have it"
I have all recepts from post office. I have asked for her responce in writing, and I will proivide reciepts (scanned).
I asked why only with overseas sales? she dodged the question.
VERY unhelpful and just kept going off on her own tangent that wasn't relevant.
I chain smoked the whole time, now I need a valium.
AARRGHHH
(does ebay read this stuff? if so. HELP ME OUT )

request it ..... it your right to deal with the upper person .....
asked why ...tell them anything ...
no understand you or like not your attitude....

By the way for who interested ..........
yes I put a Lodge a dispute with paypal.......
no reply as yet .....will wait till monday 12/1/2015.....
if no reply to my claim I will lodge dispute for the 27 sold items they holding funds on ........
only way let e-bay/paypal we not happy
kick them till it hurts ...........
if anyone scared or not sure how to lodge a dispute

I had a missed call on my phone this afternoon and a 101 message left. It was from the FOS. I have NO idea what they want, but due to my hours, the earliest I can call them back is Friday next week.

That is a bit of a b*mmer Sheepie. Have you lodged a complaint with them that they may be answering?
What a shame you cannot contact them earlier....hope they do not think you have lost interest or that everything is now OK.

Doesn't your employer give you lunch or tea breaks? A week is a very long time to be unable to use a phone during business hours.
