Nothing to do with Biggles trying to Help.   But to do with posters refusing to believe what is very explicitly

stated in the terms.

In the US, a very similar offer is being made to specific sellers, for a specific reason.   Can only assume  the offer is being made to AU members for a similar reason.

 Ebay always reacts to members system abuses, after all it is a business not a charity.

I was one of those beggars. I appreciate Biggles trying to help whether it worked or not. That's what matters - trying to help each other out.

Its well known with frequent flyer groups to always try links for promos as there are times emails are not sent and there's nothing to lose if you try.

Indeed, this is after all what this community is here for. Sadly, a lot of the most helpful and experienced posters over the years like Digital-Ghost, Kopes, Chameleon have moved on, and we are left with a lot of people who only seem to use the Community pages as their 'virtual stress-ball'. 

It is quite toxic at times. A lot of posters have an 80/20 ratio of snide comments with a few helpful posts every now and then.
