I have not stopped,, my point is the time it is going to take me to update my listings, It might be easy for some of you but I am not finding it that way if any thing it is starting to do my head in.

Ok, I can see this being really really bad for Sellers in Australia.
eg. I sell the same product as a competitor in Hong Kong, we both have same Product Identifier but his is 90% cheaper with free shipping ... BOOM my Aussie business DESTROYED.
It'll basically force all sellers to ask the same price or participate in some price war, the lowest sells more but goes bust due to no profit margin. Can anyone else see this happening? Also if you don't have a product identifier on your new items, you have to buy the numbers at $900 a year through www.gs1au.org **bleep**?

Read post # 8
Aren't your items listed as used? Therefore not new?
Ignore the direction to put in the product identifier. See post #7
Ergo - no need to update listings. You're making work for yourself
that isn't necessary

at first I thought that was the case, when I re-listed I got several notifications requiring the ISBN - but my items are all used or second hand so I bulk-edited and used "does not apply". No problem really, I just didn't know at first that the drop down menu was there.

collectables, there is a way to revise the UPC, MPN etc fields in bulk.
Send me a message and I'll write some instructions for you.

curraone, can you bulk edit the UPC?
I've only been able to do bulk revisions through File Exchange.

Note: If you list used, collectible, vintage, or one-of-a-kind items, you aren't required to include product identifiers at this time.
I have read the bit where it says i dont need to include the UPC at this time, as I sell second hand items
However, as of a couple of days ago, I have begun getting warnings on ALL of my second-hand baby clothes that I need to add a UPC (all are listed properly as 'pre-owned' in the porduct condition field.)
It is still allowing me to ignore these warnings and post at this time, however, I am concerned that will no longer be the case come June 30.

Clothing is not on the list of categories that require the Product Identifiers from 30 June.

Baby clothing is listed in the Baby section, NOT the clothing section. New baby items are one of the catagories
