A dilemma....

I went to list a book, which I hadn't  had listed for 6 months or more.

Checked other copies for prices, condition etc and to my absolute horror , I have found my own copy there.

I supposedly relisted about 2 weeks ago.

The problem is, I haven't relisted it all. It's not on my selling list and hasn't been there for some months.

I can't give an item number as it's not on  my  listings.

Is this a new glitch or something else eBay is up to???

Any help would  be appreciated.

Sandra

A dilemma....

I am much relieved to know that this has happened before.

The next question is, how to delete the item when it's not listed on my selling list??

I only found this one item by accident last night... I hate to t think how many more there are out there that myself and others don't know about.

I'm just concerned about the amount of defects that may be handed out to unwary sellers.

As for misfiling paper goods, I've done that with books!! Easy to do.

This is bizarre!

A hijacked account suddenly selling high-end items would make sense. But one selling a book...?

Spoiler

TERRORIST: Get back in your seats, everyone. Stay seated! No one make a move.

FRIGHTENED READER: Oh my God, he's got a booklight!

TERRORIST: That's right, and I will use it if any of you cause any trouble.

SECOND TERRORIST (in the Index): Captain! Turn this book around to Cuba!

CAPTAIN: But this is Passenger to Frankfurt.

SECOND TERRORIST: I don't care where you were headed. Just move the bookmark. Cuba! Now!

CAPTAIN: We don't have enough pages to get us there.

SECOND TERRORIST: We'll repaginate at Corvo!

Remain calm, Countess, and watch the blood pressure.

The accounts aren't hi-jacked.

Just ebay doing the hi-jacking

Thanks, Eggles.  I couldn't remember who it was.

In my case, the book was listed for only $12. Not exactly alot of money me thinks!!
I can understand accounts with high-end items may be hijacked but that isn't me!

A dilemma....

It was tempting to go with the scene for comedic effect, just for a minute or two...

I'll put on some Bach; that's very good for blood pressure. (At any rate, when I'm pedalling away on the exercise bike, instrumental baroque music at an andante or moderato keeps my heart rate lower than if I'm listening to other music, or to no music.)

It's not on your selling list??  Are you sure?

Now that's bizarre.   At least mine were.

My items were only worth a coupla bucks, but not the point.

A dilemma....

I've checked several times and I can't find it anywhere except when checking out the book by category.
Something that really has put my head in a spin.

My apologies... I've just found the listing.

Phew!!

Thankfully, I'll just put it down as ebay fiddling when they shouldn't !!

All good now, thank you also for your help.
I'll just have to keep a better eye on my listings now.
