The OP has not been back since they posted their message, so I suspect you are right. They've lost their money and the watch.

if, by any chance, payment is made you may find that it has been funded by a fraudulent method i.e. stolen credit card. In which case you may find that a credit card chargeback will happen in a month or two.
I am still a little confused about what you have said. Can you answer these questions please:
- how was the payment made? (PayPal, credit card, bank transfer, western union etc)
- did you sell to an eBay member?
- did you sell from an eBay listing or privately?
There is so much about what you have posted that is screaming SCAM.
Buyer in England, payment through Australia Post, shipped from America to Nigeria . . . . . . . . still thinking scam.
Please do come back and keep us updated, we are curious about how this will turn out!

Looks like it was sold OFF ebay.
Bye bye watch and money.

then the Opening Poster canโt expect eBay and/or PayPal to get involved.
The OP did say in their recent post that eBay contacted Aust Post payment service. I am wondering how Aust Post can be involved in a payment from England for an item in USA being sent to Nigeria.
