I am not sure whether this is an odd request but I listed some shoes for sale yesterday.
About 5 minutes after posting my listing someone asked me to take photos of the shoes with me wearing them.
I said I could but wanted to know why? I haven't received a reply as to why.
I haven't done it yet, the more I think about it would be easier if I sent photos in a private message?
There's nothing wrong with my legs, but I just thought it a very odd request that I do this.
I may have also lost a potential buyer.
Thoughts please?

That might not work either because some people have a hair fetish as well!
I could offer my legs, I still have my winter growth LOL! Sorry, too much information ๐

So we have to provide a top to toe service then?

I was going to suggest to the OP that they reply saying they were a double amputee, so they couldn't put the shoes on, but yes, you guessed it, some people like those too!

Don't take/send any photos. They have no intention of buying your shoes. Even block them, so they can't buy/msg you again.

Thanks everyone for your tips (and the giggles) - love some of the responses.
As you can see from the listing they are just very basic stiletto heels and they request that I put the additional photos on the listing.
I haven't heard back from them and looking at their profile they have been a member since 2011 but only bought (or got one feedback) which was positive in April 2014.
So I trust my own instincts and the advice of everyone here and WILL not be giving my feet/ankles an ebay celebrity status

Hmm. My interpretation would be that the buyer simply wants a second photo to double-check that your original picture is a photo of the actual item. I haven't read your item description, but it could be useful to reassure any similar buyers in future that your photos are in fact pictures of the actual item.

There are 4 photos!! How much verification do you think they need?

He wants to see toe cleavage i tells ya! or to check if she's got that 2nd freaky long hideous toe with nail polish on it poking out of a peep toe shoe.Doesn't even matter if she got cankles & hairy legs as long as there is no bunions on her toes & no budgies beak on the little toe either
I've had feet weirdos checking out my perty feet before so i asked some questions in a bored effort to understand the appeal.Maybe it's cos mens feet are generally so festy & ugly,i don't remember now.
