Hi Since eBay removed negative feedback for buyers years ago, there has been an increase in non paying bidders I have had 1 item I've had to relist 3 times because the buyers have been unresponsive.I think it would be a great idea if buyer's dont complete the transaction it shows up next to their profile how many unpaid strikes they have had.eBay is also losing out here not just the sellers..You could of sold your item to the lower bidder and they might of paid for it.instead you get these bidders that over bid others and never reply to your emails or pay for the item(s) they won.
Come on ebay add this feaure we understand you give bidders that don't pay unpaid strikes, but let it show in their public profile the same way we get public feedback from the buyers. What are we sellers to ebay silver ?? and buyers are gold..
Fair is fair.
Regards
Johnny

QS? What a joke that place is. Slowsales is it's name.
They might have 2 million items for sale but how many of them actually sell is the question, from my experience very little.

This is an awesome idea! I would love if ebay implemented this.

I agree and its frustrating too as you have to relist as buyers laughing there head off, i think some buyers do this purposely, win and don't pay.

i know i shouldn't say this as I will jinx myself, but since setting my blocking settings to block buyers with more than (is it 2?) unpaid strikes, I have had a lot less problems with non bidding payers.

i think if you relist and it sells the original non payer gets the bill for the difference plus your listing fees, otherwise they are free to then carry on with this behaviour punish them via there back pockets and they will soon learn its cost me time and money to chase then relist and hope that you get the same audiance you had in the original listing

I have noticed an increase in my sales too of NPB. I would like to see a solution to this that goes someway in discouraging this activity.

As a relative "newbie" and someone who buys a lot, lot more than I have or ever will sell, I say hats off to the sellers. Its fun to buy but its really not that much fun selling. Obviously as Ebay needs both sellers and buyers then whats wrong with a little more protection for sellers. There does seem to be a bit of a trend of bidders not paying, no contact etc., maybe some people think its funny and as there are no real consequences they just keep doing it. I don't know how it was before but you say yourself that it was a few shonky sellers ( or something like that) that ruined it. Why punish all sellers for evermore.
Sellers are also ripped off a lot, is that the fault of the seller.
I've read some of the negative feedback that some of my fave sellers have and its usually ridiculous. Having all the power in the buyers hands encourages bad behaviour from buyers.
