I am so pissed off at this. Sold 193 items this month. As a DVD seller making a few bucks off each item 193 isnt much... Ive had months of 500+ fairly often. Yet, I cant list or revise anything items for the rest of the month. I get this message when I try:
Attention Sellers:
Alert
At this time, you can't list any more items with this account. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
eBay occasionally places limits on accounts in order to help keep our community safe. This limit isn't a reflection on you -- these same limits apply to many sellers.
Has anyone else had this? Live chat are no help, they think this limiting crap has been in place for ever and I havent reached my current volumes before. utter horsedung.

Maybe ebay is being a tad more vigilant than usual with the huge illegal DVD bust that occurred a couple of weeks ago, with arrests still occurring in the past week or so ago.

It's pointless talking to dead help or emailing ebay; you need to ring and speak to an Australian Supervisor:-)

I've never had any selling limits imposed. I agree with motherbear. Give them a call. That message is pure nonsense if you are an established seller.
As for the bust, it becomes somewhat irrelevant to restrict selling limits on "this ID". It kind of screams to set up multiple selling IDs to get around it. Law enforcement agencies concerned will no doubt be looking into others selling DVDs etc on ebay; restricting the trade of honest sellers is certainly not the way to go.
