Just wondering how everyones sales are going for April. March was not pretty for us, ( sales ended the month 40 % below average ) but April has seen a lot more consistant sales and a large increase in general customer enquiries. Still slightly fragile but looking much better. I spoke to a surveyer on the weekend and he has been flat out since the Federal election, having to work an extra day each week on commercial subdivisions and housing starts. Just went to order a garage and the salesman said the same thing. A huge turnaround in enquiry from very poor a couple of months ago to flat out. Are things starting to pick back up a bit and can politics have that much effect on peoples confidence and the overall picture. ???

One of my ID's sells "one offs", such as vintage car parts, specialised machinery components, precision specialised tools etc. that are not readily available on ebay or through other outlets..This account has experienced major sales fluctuations in line with other sellers reports. These items are not subject to saturation, but would be affected by general "buyer mood" and ebay site issues. Sales on this account have been unpredictable, volitile and dissapointing in line with other sellers reports over the last few months.

Pleased to report that things seem to have settled down a bit with a return to long term average sales figures over the past couple of weeks and more consistant daily sales figures. ( even taking into account fluctuations for long weekends )

Yeah one of our shops is back up a bit. Probably down about 40% now. So heading in the right direction.
The other store (the one where we had the category problems) is still languishing down about 70% or so.

My sales have been terrible I've got 12 watchers on a leather jacket and they'll never buy it, just might have to pawn it

The austerity budget of Mr Hockey are 'freezing' buyers, that is always the case before elections, budgets , etc... 'Insecurity' has now replaced 'lucky' in the 'lucky country'...

Not much seems to change. off eBay anyway.
