Hi, Just wondering if any other sellers on ebay Aust are having problems with Australia Post losing some of their buyers deliveries during covid. Looks like they have lost another 2 of mine and I tried to save a few dollars by not purchasing extra insurance. I think I have learnt a valuable lesson unfortunately. ๐

After last week, im done with auspost for now, massive delays and ive got Cases coming in a fair bit now, not my fault its running late, and Ebay could care less i think, as long as they get paid.

It's been said before on related threads about postal delays that it's a good idea to increase your handling time to at least 7 days to give you a buffer for late arrivals.

Couldn't. Couldn't. Couldn't. It's couldn't care less. You're either American or you have been watching too many American shows on TV.
By saying they could care less, then they absolutely could care way less than they already do.
As for being done with AP, don't assume that couriers will be any faster, because they won't.

"normal" pre COVID delivery times of means about a week to most destinations. "normal" COVID delivery times is around 2 weeks.
If you are achieving better than this the what is your secret. Don't say Express Post, which was guaranteed overnight and is now 2-3 days

My secret is MyPost Business. Except for those items that go as untracked letters. Given I haven't had any cases opened for INR for those, I assume they are also being received within a reasonable timeframe.

2-3 days? I recently sent a satchel from Regional NSW to metro WA via express. It took 1 day short of 3 WEEKS. Given the buyer opted for express, and paid the extra for it, I am very surprised I didn't get an INR and negative feedback.

I have just recently had an item reported to me as being lost by the buyer, They forwarded me the notificaiton from Fastway Couriers (was posted at AP outlet) that the item was lost and recomended that they contact the seller (me) to organise a replacement or refund. I didn't have a replacement so refunded them. The very next day, the buyer contacted me to say that they just recieved their item!!!! Next time, I think I will advise my buyer to be patient and wait a bit before deciding that an item is lost!
