eBay Australia has named this Sunday, December 7, as the busiest online shopping day in Australian history, predicting more than half a million items will be purchased on its site in just 24 hours, or six gifts every second.
..
The company predicts a “record-breaking” 2.6 million people will visit eBay Australia on Sunday, and will purchase 510,000 items — 23 per cent more than last year’s tally.

I know it is.
This is called a meme (rhymes with cream) - the premise of which is generally a joke, and more often than not, they use references from pop culture to make a joke about other things.

It's crazy...
I wonder what some of my regular customers would say if I got booted due to DSR defects. i.e. If I got a message asking me why I wasn't selling anymore, the best I could say is:
"Actually, I don't know. The only thing I do know is that at least 8 people thought my item descriptions were neither accurate nor inaccurate, so I'm not 'eBay worthy' anymore".

Just don't be too quick to spend those funds sellers.............who knows how much of the great haul will still be yours by June 2015!!!
You can't please all the people all the time, so now I just please myself

While Sundays are normally a bit quieter than weekdays for us we would usually expect to see around 10x sales across our 5x IDs.
Yesterday we got a single sale. Woopee! for the biggest online sales day ever prediction.
