Huh? They ARE NOT withdrawing Express Post satchels. Pricing for singles, 10-packs and bulk purchases of 100+ are clearly given on the Express Post .pdf

There is a oversize/extra large version of the 3 & 5kg Express satchal available, these are the ones being withdrawn, not the normal size ones.

large express post satchels are no loss in my opinon, they were overpriced and no quicker to & from country areas.

So can someone clarify for me. Instead of registered post we will now pay $2.95 for signature on delivery. Do we get a copy of the signature for use in a Paypal claim. Or do we need to pay another $2.45 to apply to have a statement of delivery.

With tracking all you need for paypal protection is for it to show its been delivered, and yes to the nearest depo, you dont have to show delivery to the buyers address, just delivered to the nearest delivery center and your protected as a seller.
I was on the phone to paypal today and I asked them the same question in regard to being protected and only needing to show proof of delivery now, so dont panic, no need to spend more money.

well Aust post has now given even more reason to not sell Internationally!
overseas parcel zones have been divided into EIGHT zones, with for example, European countries spread over three different zones 6, 7 or 8, even for countries next to each other on the map.
all to do with mail distribution I think, not the geographical location.
also our nearest neighbour PNG has moved to Zone 5 ?:|

So the tracking that will be available online for all parcels now will be fine to cover us with Paypal am I correct?

Last time I had a claim from a buyer that a parcel was not received although the tracking showed delivered.
Gave Auspost a call and they emailed me at no extra cost a "Statement of delivery" clearly showing the customer's address and signature captured from the scan gun.
