Australia Post quoting problems

Hi there,

I am trying to do a quote for multiole postage.  I put it in a box and it weighed between 1 and 2 kg and the postage from Victoria to NSW came out at nearly $20.  I have an expandable tough bag and Tb6 and when I try and put the measurements into the Australia Post website it says that it is too long.  I dont understand this anymore and Australia Post website used to be really easy to work quotes out but not anymore.  Does anyone know an easier way.

Thanks,

Mumscats

Re: Australia Post quoting problems

The bag says 670 mm x 405 mm x 115 mm.  I put it in as this and says that the 115 is too big.  I dont understand because this is an Australia Post product.

Re: Australia Post quoting problems

because the calculator needs cm not mm

so change it 67 x 40.5 x 11.5

Re: Australia Post quoting problems

OK thanks,  I just did the quote and it came out at nearly $25.00 for 2 items of Tupperware, this is crazy.  I dont understand how they can charge so much.  Postage of an ordinary parcel between Melbourne and Sydney used to be about $13 or $14.
