I wanted to start a discussion regarding the rest of the worlds shipping charges to sell sell in Australia. Does Australia Post have an agenda?

What kind of discussion? Of course AP have an agenda, it is to provide a service that doesn't cost the taxpayers of Australia too much. Australia's overseas postage charges are pretty much the same as other 1st world countries, try sending anthing weighing over 2kg from the UK with any sort of proof of postage and you would find you just about have to take out a mortgage.
You cannot compare the prices with the likes of China and India as they are paying their staff so little that they can afford to practically give the postage away for nothing in an attempt to up their level of exports.
Because of the international agreement every country has to deliver any mail that comes in and obviously they cannot charge extra for delivering it one it arrives, that could never work as it would be impossible to manage.

Obviously nobody is interested and I am only replying because I have nothing better to do for the next ten minutes.
Postage is what it is and we are all singing from the same sheet so what is there to discuss?
