Australian Top Rated Sellers paying the most in fees out of any country

Unlike other countries, such as the US, the UK and Canada, Ebay Australia does not provide a 10% discount in the final value fee for Top Rated Sellers. This is something that is standard everywhere on Ebay for other countries to reduce some of the extraordinary fees we are facing trying to sell regularly on this website. On top of that, we are charged fees by Ebay on the costs of Postage as well as having some of the most expensive postage costs compared to other countries on top of it. Why are we being treated worse?

I just checked out the United state fee's and they are up to 15%,  not sure how your research was done.

And I don't think you can blame Ebay for our postage rates, last I checked Australia Post sets them.

And most of you listings say free postage,  so your comment re fee's one postage are not relevant,  You are paying the fee on the full price, but we all know you have factored postage in your sale price anyhow, and if you havent well thats your issue

Why only mention the highest rate when the lowest rate is well below that like 3% and the majority is 13.25%.

Ah I did say up to 15%.  and did you look at what the 3% fee is for,  not many of those ads on Ebay

Either way they are comparable.

Ebay Australia Rates are excellent

Thanks stawks, did not have time to check those.

Did locate a reference to the 10% discount, under .com seller standards and it seems to apply to top rated plus sellers and only to sellers resident to where there rating applies.

ebay au does not have a top rated plus seller standard.

But failed to mention from 3% for some reason. You could have just gone with the average or most common but instead went for the highest for reasons everyone here knows.

Can you please explain the reason why, I must have missed it somewhere?
