Just use caution as the automatic relist function isn't working correctly.
I had listings ending earlier that I thought should have relisted but each had: eBay note: This item didn't automatically relist. To relist it,
go to the listing tool.
So I used the relist tool and off course they came off the free listings.
So I went and revised each listing to make certain they had the relist ticked.
Now I've had another nine listings go through to unsold and each has the same message.
So is it no longer in use, broken or another attempt to put more money in their coffers if the seller thinks that they'll go through
as free,(instead they'll be charged the $1.50 insertion fee).
I'm not playing their games and wont relist those items till next month.

For the last few days, mine have been taking on average 5-6 hours to relist. Just be patient. Unfortunately, it means I now have listings ending at 3, 4 and 5am, but you get that. I had some listings end this afternoon and they haven't relisted yet. I don't know what's been going on.

It's just frustrating that you have to go through all the hassle of selecting the automatic relist and then it
doesn't work.
It's about time they came up with an option to include it when doing a bulk edit,

Mine also failed to relist tonight.
I have emailed ebay and spoke to them on the phone and they are escalating it to the technical team.....
Cheers

I'm just finding it a pain because listings I want finishing around this time of night, are now finishing in the wee small hours when most people are sleeping.

I am having the same problem only tells me an item has not Sold and been relisted for Free but when you click on the item only shows the Finished Listing. Been happening for around 5 Days so Far as I can work out. So you think items have relisted but have not and they also do not show in your finished items Not sold.
Example. Unfortunately, your item didn't sell this time around. Don't worry, it'll be automatically relisted for free. If your item sells, final value fees apply.

Mine were tardy on my store ID last night, but this one was okay. Everything seems to be back to normal tonight.

I am having a similar problem. There is the usual 40 free listings and then they seem to be doing some other offers for free listings. I started to list on the offer and then thought "I wonder if I should revise my listing to remove the tick on the box that says it will list 3 times for free" as I thought maybe if it relists, it will charge me. So upon revising the listing, I noticed that there was a fee for $1.65 which has never happened before. I didn't go through with it and decided maybe I better not list at all just in case.....

the current extra 40 freebies offer is a bit contancerous. Anything that is revised gets charged a listing fee. I had to relist existing listings singularly on some items to get it to work. Others worked as bulk relists.
