Just noticed this morning, must have come on after the maintenance last night, that all my BIN items have best offer on, I do not do that, so am having to go through and revise, and if you have had items sold on that listing can't be changed.
I had an offer, thats when i knew something was wrong.
Also if you relist anything as well. So be careful if you don't want this feature.
Ebay doing the sneaky on us,

same here, the best offer box is ticked when I go to list anything new....jilly

Apparently, the Best Offer button is automatically checked because
'selling team is testing the functionality to a select group of folks'
quote is from auctionbytes blog a few days ago.
So it isn't a glitch, it's a test.
And a complete pest.

Every time you relist an item they tell you to lower the price or offer 'best offer', so it's not really a test.
It's yet another imposition.
When I list through turbolister it doesn't happen, and I don't use SYI for many new listings, so it is a minor inconvenience for me.

well they could take me off their list, its is a jolly pest. Thanks for all your replies. just got to remember to untick the box, just another extra click, too many.

Use turbolister.
It is far more flexible, as well.
