Buyer Unable to Leave Positive Feedback

I have had this problem in the past quite often where I am unable to leave feedback for a buyer because it says I have already left feedback.  But we have not. And I get reminder messages often from eBay as well about leaving feedback but when we try to we get the same error message.

However, this is the first time a buyer has contacted me to say they were extremely happy with their products and wanted to leave us Positive Feedback. But an error message said they have already left it. There is definitiely no feedback showing from them tho.

So now I am now wondering how often this is happeneing and just that this is the first time a buyer has bothered to write me a message about it.

Seems the feedback management system has problems, and this is not good especially when its POS for the seller.

Could help explain why only around 40% of our buyers leave any FB.

Wonder if it ever works the same way if the buyer wants to leave NEG? That's very rare for us tho.

I've heard the same from one of my buyers - they didn't describe what the error was exactly, but apparently they filled out the feedback page and couldn't submit it. I wonder if that's why other buyers, who've thanked me in messages, haven't given feedback either.

It is not all that unusual....I get told quite regularly that I cannot leave feedback because I have already left it or it is too late.

I find if I leave it a few minutes and resubmit it then it usually goes through.

It is a fairly common question on the boards.  I am sure some new ebayers panic when they get the message. First stop the boards, where they are told to try again.  If they return it is usually to say that it worked.  I am guessing that those who don't come to the boards just don't bother to leave any feedback.

So far as us (seller) leaving FB for the buyer...

We get reminder messages regularly from ebay to leave FB.

But when we try we get the error message that you have already left FB.

We have around 20 buyers on our list who don't show FB from us. But no matter how many times or when we try always the same error message.

We know we don't forget to do it each & every time as we always leave it on the day we pack/mail the item. Its kinda like a double-check for us when we mailed it.

I'm sure most buyers who encounter this fault will probably just shrug and move on and we will never know. Just that we never get FB from them and they are part of the 60% who don't leave it.

It's a fault that should be addressed by eBay as I'm sure it's costing us Positives. We know of 1 for certain.

   am unable to leave Feedback for many articles received. Nothing shows upo when I type. What can I do?
