Who is sick and tired of buyers not paying for their items and nothing being done about it.They waste the sellers time and effort and there are no consequences for this. These time wasters should be suspended from ebay.Ebay has everything stacked against the seller, you can't even leave a negative feedback against them. What can we do to make Ebay change this?.

ive got a doozy at the moment.
I sent a reminder to a buyer (4 days after auction win) and i get a message today saying that "i keep telling you i havent bought your item and i dont have paypal"
firstly this is the first communication i have had from this buyer
secondly.. uhhhh yes you did bid on my item and you won it
of course i have explained politely that the item was bid on and won and to check their purchase history
and of course i have now opened a UID as its obvious i wont be seeing any money from this buyer
*shakes head*

I'm not sure how this relates to my post, but you have done the correct thing.

Then why reply to me?

Davewil the majority of posters, including regulars, and I imagine many also posting via mobile devices, just add their comment to the last post on a thread- and are not replying to your responses directly.
I am not sure why you are not aware of this.
This is the way Lithium have set up the boards maybe raise the issue to them if it bothers you and it causes you to misinterpret that the meaning of particular posts.

In response to cats -
I am fully aware of how the boards work. And I am also aware that the vast majority of respondents seem to be able to reply to the post they are replying to, rather than the most recent one. Unless they are PJ.
Your perception may be different, and I am happy to concede the point on you providing proof of your contention. Say the latest posts on ALL threads on the first pages of 'Selling' and 'Buying'. That would seem to be a representative sample.

Lol, it just is.
I am not scrolling back to an OP when I am on my mobile - I just reply to the last post as do others.
Nothing to get all bothered about or waste time counting posts

OP don't get me started on non-payers .... time wasting, costly, good for nothing pests that they are

Next time just inform them that their account was used to make that purchase.
Then explain that if they didn't make the purchase then someone with access to their computer and their log in
details did.
So if it wasn't them or anyone that she allows to use their PC then someone has hacked into their account and
they need to report it as such,

better still Taz, being a good community minded and helpful member, they could always inform eBay of this themselves and then let their customer know they have done this to help them out.
