I asked ebay to increase my selling limits and was advised that I had low scores for my postage times – I post everything the same day or if a buyer buys in the evening I post first thing in the morning, the ebay sales person says I need to post quicker and they will consider allowing me higher selling limits, I said any quicker and I will need to post before a person buys an item. I live in Perth Metro area and it does not help that ebay gives an approx. delivery date which is nearly impossible from Perth – it takes at least 3-4 days to another capital city and can be up to 10 days to a regional area. How can I overcome this
I purchased an item this morning which says estimated delivery 3-5 days which is nearly impossible as its coming from Brisbane, even Australia Post has 3-6 business days which doesn’t include weekends

No matter where it is posted from in the UK it takes a parcel a maximum of 2 days to get on a plane and then 24 hours to reach Aus.
A parcel posted in WA may take a couple of days to reach th main distribution centre and then it travels across country by road so is it any wonder it may take a bit longer than some parcels from the UK.
All ebay delivery schedules are unrealistic so if you are in WA it may be a good idea to put a note on all your listings pointing out that although you post straight away parcels may take up to 2 weeks to arrive if buyers are not on the west coast.

I've added a paragraph about ebays delivery times now, parcels, especially to Queensland from WA are sometimes up to over 10 days, plus I've waited 10 days for items from NSW a few times. The dsrs bit for delivery times should encourage the buyer to check the date stamp.
