Can I get 4 defects removed that are me ending the listings and relisting differently?

I have 5 defects that have made my seller level 'below standard'. Only one is a refund for being out of stock/item was missing. The other 4 are listings that I ended to relist differently and try to sell better. I didn't know that ending a listing is a defect, and there are only 3 choices to pick from for your reason, so I picked 'there is an error in the listing' as my reason to end each one. 

 

I have tried seller hub to get these 4 removed, but no luck. My seller level is below standard, so sales have dropped to 2 in a week, whereas before this I was selling 30* a week. 

 

Is there any other way that I can appeal the defects?

I tried that as well but no luck.....mind you the chat lady was called "Lucky Divine".

The phone centre has been closed since early last year because of COVID.....the only contact with ebay is via Live Chat now.

It's not - that is absolutely an error, as defects are transaction-based (they should only occur when you cancel an order for being out of stock or item damaged, or an eBay request is escalated by a buyer for review by eBay.

 

"Late" shipments are a defect of sorts, but they can't affect your seller standard.

 

These are the only things that should have any impact on a seller's performance standard. 

 

Unfortunately you'll have to try chat until you get someone who understands the situation and can do something about it - different deparments actually have different authorities to action things. When you get connected to an agent, just confirm that they are with the seller performance standards / defect removal department, and if they are not, ask to be transferred to someone who is.

Are you sure sales have dropped to 2 a week?

I counted that you have been selling at least 14 items per week on average.

Seller hub is the only way now and pretty much useless, you can't reason with them the no longer accept appeals for defects or feedback through chat. We got a neg on one of our accounts recently saying "seller won't communicate with me" when they didn't even send a message at all. It was denied by seller hub

Finally today (after 6 previous 'chats') I happened to be given someone that fixed 3 of the 4 defects. Won't show in my status for 24/48 hours, and I have to wait for the next evaluation to get my top ranking back.

I'm absolutely drained of every bit of energy I have....trying to fix something that wasn't my error.

Anyway....its done as best as I could get it to be & I'll just have to wait until the 20th now.
