I have 40 free listings this month starting today but I can not list a single item because ebay says that I reached my total listings available for this month.
WAKE UP ebay it's 1st of June!
Why is ebay still showing that it's May?
Does ebay go by US date and time?
Anyone know the answer? I would appreciate it thanks in advance.

If you used up your limit and have no items listed currently, then the new limit should begin again as soon as the monthly cycle begins again evening time?

Have you applied to have your limit increased? If you have listed two months in a row and sold all ten items both times with no issues, eBay should be happy to increase your limit so you can list more than ten. Use the link on your MyeBay page to request a higher limit.

When we first started out it took a couple of months of selling before they would increase our selling limits.
Keep chasing them as they will do it, but you can only request one increase per 30-day period.
Once your feedback positive score gets up a bit and your sales are showing happy customers these limit increases will get easier.
We were on the phone once per month asking for limit increases and never had one knocked back.
After 2-years of trading they increased our limits without us even asking to something ridiculous like 500,000. So that is essentially unlimited for us. So we never need to worry about selling limits any more. Well not until we get really BIG!

Could it be because I'm a newbie seller and because ebay are trying to get rid of small sellers they have decided to stop me from selling?

As a new seller, you would have listing limits (totally different from your monthly free listing allocation, which only governs what you pay for listings, not how many listings you can have). You cannot exceed the number of listings to which you are restricted. For example, if you are restricted to 10 listings per month, and you currently have 10 items listed, even though they were originally listed last month, they are still current listings and therefore count toward your monthly limit. You can aply to havve your listing limit increased, but in the mean time it makes no difference how many free listings you have available, you can't use them if you have listed up to your limit.

Yes I understand that I have a limit of 10 listings so when do I get them?
Does the new month start from when I listed my first item or the beginning of each month?
I have been limited to only 10 listings for 2 months in a row now and it all went smooth when I listed the second lot of 10 but now that I'm trying to list another lot it won't let me.

You can only ever have listed at one time the maximum you are allowed, so if you have ten items listed on the last day of the month, those ten items will roll over to the next month and that is your limit? I have about 25 items listed on a limit of 40, when the new month starts I will have used the 25 and will be able to list another 15?

My last item sold on the 2/5/15 which was limited to 10 items so does this mean that I will be able to list tomorrow 2/6/15?

My first lot of 10 was listed on the 27/4 and sold by the 29/4
My second lot of 10 was listed on the 1/5 and sold on the 2/5
These are the 2 lots of listings so you see I was able to list again on the 1/5 for another 10
But now I can not list and it is a new month and almost a month since the last item sold.
I was able to list at the end of April and because it was a new month I was able to list at the beginning of May.
So the new cycle should be now because of a new month.
