In Australia by the way so we have a wonderful new 10% Netflix tax on top of our invoice but still doesn't make 21%
No insertion fees either just on sales and postage

I counted around $295 for the monthly sale so -$22.52 is less than expected

Where are you getting the 21% figure from? If from the "Fees as a percentage of your sales" pie chart that appears on your monthly account page, I think it is wildly inaccurate. For the first 6 months of this year on one of my IDs, the fees percentages have been 12.19%, 9.31%, 9.51%, 10.22%,9.0% and 10.84%. How could 3 out of 6 of them be under 9.9% (pre the netflix tax), which is the absolute minimum they could be. On my other ID, they average around 15%., which seems to be more like what it is meant to be.

But kopes the billing cycle is from the 15th of the month to the 15th of the next month isn't it?
So you count the sales in between those dates.
And the fees are due around the 30th of the month.

as others have said - it's extremely inaccurate at the best of times.
mine is at 13% though currently and i offer free postage. so i imagine if you charge postage, your percentage would go up considerably (as others have said).

eezi, not everyone has their billing cycle from the 16th to the 15th. Half of the sellers have it from the 1st to the 30th, the other half get billed on the 15th. One of my IDs is the 15th, the other two are the 30th.

If your postage was the same as your sales price it would add up to approx 21%.
For example- Approx 10% FVF on Sale- !0% FVF on Postage- 1% Netflix tax = 21%
