Can u get defect removed for out of stock items for sellers

Grrrr still have defect for out of stock item! How as a seller did you deal with this issue. thanks

If you sell an out of stock item you get a defect. It will go away in 12 months.

I deal with the issue by managing what I have listed.

You can appeal defects, but I would not hold out much hope for an out of stock defect, but I suppose you could try to convince ebay that it was beyond your control.

Ah best way is not to have an out of stock item.   Why should it be cleared

If something is out of stock, pull the ad down.

One of the things that really annoys buyers is to buy something, pay for it then get a message, sometimes days later, that the item is not in stock.

Ebay is trying to lift seller performance across a range of issues-delivery time, as described, in stock etc

I think the only way you can deal with it is to wear it till it drops off your record in a few months. It isn't the end of the world, buyers can't see it. Just take extra care in future with your ads so it doesn't happen again.

I got a defect, says because eBay had to refund the buyer. This was totally not true. I refund the buyer. It shows in the item details page that the seller refunded the buyer. Rang eBay and pointed this out, was told it would be removed, 3 months later, still showing a defect 😡

Hi yes so annoying sorry to all for the late reply . Yes they should remove it keep trying and they should remove mine they refuse it suits them. Yes , I am working on sku issue too on my stock. thanks for your replies . wish you all the best with your sales.
