Charged a refund

Had a buyer claimed he bought item and didn't deliver. 

I never received the payment but there's a purchase id and everything.

Now I had to refund a sale I didn't get?

All I get is automated help.

Did you complete sign up for Managed Payments and be verified before you sold?

 

If not, you won’t be paid at all

 

If you did, the money would be on hold due to you being a new seller, for 30 days

 

was this for what you sold on May 19 for $160?

Did you not respond to the item not received dispute?

 

Or upload tracking number at any point?

You sold item  385604014615   on   19th of May,  for  $160   +  $10 postage.

You would have received a message telling you that the item had been paid for and advising you to ship the item.

Note as a new seller, your funds would be on hold for 30days.  You do not get to wait for your funds to clear and were required to ship when advised to do so.

It would appear you did not ship the item, and more so it would appear you did not reply to the claim for item not received.   As such  ebay would refund the funds to the buyer,  but you are still liable for ebay fees, and in addition  a dispute resolution fee, which I think is  $22.00

If you wish to sell on ebay, then it is a good idea to do a bit of research first, and at the very least pay attention to ebay messages.
