Chinese sellers should be banned from selling on eBay.com.au

It's disgusting how eBay Australia allows international Chinese sellers to list and sell on our site

My opposition are primarily Chinese who sell items for $1.00 (including shipping) But for me, the cheapest shipping within Australia is $7.20 + the  cost of the product. How can we compete with that? Yes, to send an item the size of two box of matches (for example) is $7.20

At the very least, our listings should get priority and appear ahead of theirs in search results

If your interested in drafting a protest, please post your interest here.

Regards

Dave

PS This is not a racial issue. My wife is Khmer (Cambodian).

Ok, that's pretty much a blanket statement to make.

Do you include yourself, as an Aussie seller, under that blanket ?

umm..why shouldn't they be allowed to make a living? Man Embarassed

If they can sell me stuff that I like and deliver it to my door, then I'm happy for it.

Importarama....Maaate, most of the stuff you sell are likely bought from China/Asia -> yet you put intentional advertising on your pics that your products are 100 percent australian owned and operated. I know what you mean by that but you should be more honest and just say your BUSINESS is australian owned and operated.

This pic is an example of your listings for a $5.95 watch. Some people would mistaken the watch for an aussie home grown product.

Cos most customers would see the flag and innocently assume your products that you're selling are australian made. Where in fact, you're the one buying it from the chinese and selling it to the aussies Smiley LOL
