Click and Send Down Again!

Click and send is driving me insane this week! Wake up to post parcels and its down again. Might be time to re think how I post. So frustrating!

I have 20 that I managed to process and pay for last night

before it went down again.

The email 'reprint labels' link won't work.

Fingers crossed that they are still there when the system is up again.

Click & Send is great when it works but I am beginning to suspect that the whole thing was a rush job to accomodate an ebay market demand.

Speaking of ebay, I would love to see an announcement ( via messaging ) alerting buyers to possible delays in posting.

Coming from sellers it might sound like an 'excuse' for slackness.

Coming from ebay it would sound like a 'good reason' for delays.

Yes we have been conned into getting onboard with this service however it is not just by Australia Post.

Ebay promotes clickandsend despite the fact clickandsend has had ongoing problems since inception. Ebay has remained silent and has not provided any advice to its sellers using clickandsend. As a seller I am required by ebay, and I quote “meet minimum performance standards under the Global seller performance standards program.” What performance standards are clickandsend required to meet??

It is frustrating, well thats two days down, I can only hope its up and running before sunday evening when I usually bust out my weekend orders.  When it works its good and I like being able to pay with paypal, its easy for me.

I wish I could give all our Click and Send customers some good news, but I'm afraid at this point in time, there is nothing to tell.

I just wanted to let you all know that I am signing off for the night now, so there won't be anybody manning this page from now until we are back on Monday morning and I didn't want to leave you all hanging for a Click and Send update that wasn't going to come.

Well isn't the news just plain pathetic.

One would hope that the whole repair crew isn't also taking the weekend off.

At least we have scored an acknowledgement that there is a problem unlike PayPal when it 'misplaced' the bank transfers of maybe thousands of sellers and only acknowledged a problem a week later ( but never publically ). Remember Black Sunday 15th April 2012. Gawd, I sound like V...lol

At Click & Send website ..updated 7pm tonight.

A further update will be provided by 9am on Saturday 3 November.

Well at least someone is on deck over the weekend ( I hope ).

Either that or an employee logging in for 5 minutes to update the message and make it 'appear' that work is in progress.

Me being cynical....never.

Not that this solves the problem, but Officeworks does a great $12  3kg express post satchel and $20 for 5kg satchel among other things.  I used it for an ebay sale and it worked great.  Have to go in to a store though . . .  but a good back up and pretty reasonable pricing too.

Oh love it: the further update provided by 9am Saturday (today) is that there will be another update by 12 midday on Sunday 4 November.  

And another apology for the inconvenience of course!

mostly we just want to pay for the postage & print the label .

while they fix any glitches .. why doesnt AP have an automatic machine in the PO that people can type in info & then pay by swiping a credit card,then it prints the label or we can save it to a flash drive???

too easy or is that a dream.

could be similar to the photo printing services at stores.
