Click and Send - You suck

Buyer pays bank deposit, hasnt gone through checkout. Despite me marking as Payment recieved, Click and send still thinks it hasnt been, and wont let me create a label.

Suburb\Postcode not matching - comes up every 2nd or 3rd label, and everytime the postcode has been correct. Have had to put in another suburb click and send accepts, and then change it manually on the label. The whole point of clicka nd send is to make it easier to post, not more difficult.

This really sucks - surely both or these things can be overridden. FIX THIS EBAY.

If you want someone to fix Click and Send you should be looking to Australia Post, not ebay.

Re: Click and Send - You suck

can quite easily create the label by inputting the address manually if ebay is a bit slow in updating the info to the click & send site. As for the wrong suburb problem it is often the buyer's fasult as they have input the info as North Anywhwere instead of Anywhere North or there are several suburbs with the same postcode so C&S just need you to confirm which it is.

Instead of getting thrown back at the end I always click on validate so I can sirt out any problems there and then.

Re: Click and Send - You suck

Often the suburb/postcode mismatch is because the city, not the suburb is in the suburb field. Which means you need to paste the suburb in the right box. And change the state back from the ACT.

Another one the other day was because the suburb was input somewhere before printing as suburb, [comma]. In those cases you need to remove the comma.

Re: Click and Send - You suck

As I said I always validate on the way to sort out any of these issues which are all relatively minor and don't happen often enough to cause any great concern, would that my life were so uncomplicated that I could stress so much over something as minor and easily fixable as a click & send address!

Re: Click and Send - You suck

I actually like how C&S does these things  - more often than you would imagine I have had buyers with incorrect postcodes ( usually the numbers have been transposed) and this picks it up way before it would get lost in the current postal system. ( they use the postcode first, then go by town names)

Re: Click and Send - You suck

I encountered these same 2 problems often when I was new to C&S but realised that -  1) the system is set to ACT as default State. 2) Buyer's address often has their capital city in the 'Town' field where their suburb should be. Once I got used to checking and changing these 2 things I've had no problems  Smiley Happy

Re: Click and Send - You suck

Also if you get stuck about which is correct option of suburb after checking postcose on AP site, put street address in google maps and that will show you which suburb that street is in.

I would prefer C & S be picky than it not picking errors in addresses, resulting in delays.
