Hope somebody can give me a quick answer.
Buyer paid by bank deposit, sent item via click and send, buyer claims not received even though tracking says delivered.
I can chase it up with austpost, but if no joy am I still protected by sending by click and send even though buyer did not use paypal to purchase item?
Or do I not have a leg to stand on?

With a 3 or less feedback thats an automatic block IF the seller follows the right procedures.
If ANY buyer has more than 2 strikes against them...thats an automatic block IF the seller follows the right procedures.
See where Im going with this???
yep.. China

In simple terms I dont have to deal with problem buyers.
I have a timewaster now that I am trying to get rid of by cancelling transactions with her.
She can be nasty and reject the mutual cancellation, thats cool that will only cost me 90c worth of FVFs.
I would rather she do that or it gets automatically closed in a few days, then cop a negative at the end of it all.
There were false positives left by about four other sellers. One seller had 9 unpaid transactions against this particular buyer but did not raise disputes for them! Only ONE seller had actually raised disputes against this buyer, until I made them aware that they needed to follow through with them so they can shut this person down.
I wouldnt then be put in a position of dealing with this numpty buyer if procedures were adhered to by other sellers. I totalled about 13 strikes if everything was done correctly,

I am in agreement with queen kong , if everyone followed the rules when it comes to bad sellers and bad buyers it would go a long way to stamping them out.
And if at the end everyone following the rules still didnt solve the problems then everyone has a very serious reason to hold ebay to account.
But until all the rules are followed, it just gives ebay the ammunition to tell people that the system is fine, it is just people dont follow the system

How do you know those sellers did not give the buyer a strike.

I do work within ebay rules. I issue strikes for every single non-payer.
It is non paying buyers that don't follow the rules, yet somehow you think sellers are at fault.
Lol.

I have six UPI for this buyer, three have been closed got my FVF back, the other three I have sent mutual cancellations request, and predictably no response will wait out the seven days until they get closed automatically
