I am finding it impossible to close my ebay account.
I first telephoned ebay and they said it would be closed. They then emailed to say there was money owing on the account (which I then paid even though there was a direct debit in place).
They then said I couldn't close the account until 30 days had elapsed from the last payment. When this time arrived they still wouldn't close the account as there was now a small overpayment ($6) A refund from my store closure presumably.
They have now said I have to wait 25 to 30 days until they refund the $6 overpayment then another 30 days after that before the account is closed.
I find ebay are being extremely difficult in their procedures in this case.
Beware if you think you can close your account with one click!!
