Hi ladies gents and others,
Well I guess we all get one sooner or later but it still is a big dissappointment.
A nutter has pooped on my perfect feedback. All over a $10 item (of course).
Story goes like this:
Buyer buys item. I send with 24 hours. No tracking as its only a $10 dollar item.
Next thing I know POW!
Buyer opens a case in the resolution center for not received (only six business days after it was sent to country NSW)
They send a love message too:
"Please ensure delivery by the close of business on 08/09/2015 or refund my money and compensate me financially for time you have wasted."
WOW!
I immediatley reponded with apologies and an offer to re-send the item as soon as they confirmed iy hadnt shown up on the following Monday. I also sent them a copy of the photo. - I photograph all non tracked items after they are stamped at the post office.
BANG!
Neg.
"AVOID!!! Takes your money and does not send items. SCAMMER!!!"
Yep they neeged my perfect record, caused me the last defect I can afford and wrote this:
"The items have not arrived. Please apply a full refund and make compensation for my wasted time in having to deal with a rip off merchant with bad excuses in not sending what I paid for."
Thats right folks they actually are asking to be compenesated on top of the purchase price.
There we go folks.
Feeling sad and blue over a $10 sale and a nut case 😞
I can only assume thay are filled with fear or hate or perhaps both.
Thi

Completely agree with your feedback idea everard6920, very level headed and detached.
The charity in question is:

There is a Contact Us link on the website....it is a PO Box in Pitt Town NSW.
I would definitely write to them and let them know what is being done in their name.
Quite often you find that these organisations do not have offices in other country towns....just a volunteer in the area who represents them.
Some years ago my daughter worked as a Council Ranger in a large country town where part of her job was to run the local animal pound.....her "other job" was as RSPCA rep in the area.

I know a little about AWDRI; My daughter, having a working dog in suburbia, has been dealing with them for years. AFAIK the lady who founded it is really great! My daughter isn't home right now (still at Uni) but I do think she may have proper contact details on her phone.
AFAIK there are a few dog rescue centres that use the AWDRI name to fundraise, but aren't registered or asked to do so. This is very distressing to know that a possible scam has occurred in the name of a very worthy charity.
I hope to get back to this board soon with proper charity details & etc if I can. AFAIK AWDRI itself rehomes high energy dogs who are in distress or impounded. Aussie Cattle Dog; Border Collie; Maremma & other herding breeds. This is all I know (& I'll admit I know little about AWDRI) I do know they pay for vet help when needed & some of the cases they handle are very sad.
I'm not sure which state AWDRI works from. I think maybe NSW or QLD. Sorry I can't be of more help right now. AWDRI do have a dogs for adoption site; If this helps! Aust Working Dog Rescue Inc.

I just noticed that the site you put up was not AWDRI (Australian Working Dog Rescue Inc) - An incoroporated company with true charity status. May I suggest this is one of the "fly by nights" trading on the name of a registered charity? JMHO.
In looking carefully you may be dealing with someone who is trading on the good name of a real charity to pocket the money & scarper!
I've just checked charity & business registrations & there is no "Working Dog Rescue" only AWDRI. I can only conclude your buyer may be a scammer, trading in part on the good name of a charity.

redders, the website gives a contact address as a POBox in Pitt Town NSW.
I can well imagine that they would not have many offices, just volunteer representatives in certain areas.
Even the RSPCA does not gave an office or paid staff in every large town/city. They rely on volunteers to help out.

redders, have another look at the link.....I believe it is the genuine charity. If you read the site they give their ABN and charity status.
It all looks OK to me but whether the person the OP is dealing with is really connected to them is debatable.
Even if he is not then I think they need to know about it if only to nip it in the bud before he does any more harm to their reputation.

Just checking back in for a second and wow, what great detective work you all have done. Just great!
The PayPal payment info links the website above and the PO BOX is identical to the contact us info shown on the website.
http://www.workingdogrescue.com.au/contact-us-2/
and the actual PayPal payment shoes as from " eBay - Australian Working Dog Rescue Inc"
It really looks like it comes from their legitimate account.
The style of writing amd purchase history would seem to be more like a male.
@redders_60
The best possible solution is usuallly through a personal contact. That would be just great if you dont mind.
Will check back later in the PM.
Cheers for now.

I think the charity looks very suspicious, they could very easily have set up a web site and PO Box and be pretending to be the registered charity. Is ther a Charities Commission who you can send details to for investigation?
It says in this book I am reading that by 2065 80% of women will be overweight.
See what a trendsetter I am?
