This happened to me a few times.
Previously I just refunded the money, not interested in BS.
This time I suggested to arrange their own currier since the thing is too big for postage. So he asks for address. I supplied postcode and now there is no further contact.
What do you think?

It's usually better to not take risks if you are not comfortable doing so.

Of course it is - they were the words of the OP - not mine.

I am a little confused to why would you say this then
"I'm with the OP - I would not take the chance on the buyer."

No idea whatsoever as why you are confused.
Perhaps read the whole thread - and to whom the answers were given - the advice hasn't changed - cancel the sale - due to problems with address.

Update:
It is the next day and I decided to refund due to problems with buyers address.
However ... ebay has paid me minus the seller's fee of $20. How nice. So what? Do I have to lose $20? How come ebay paid so soon without any proof of delivery?

Sounds like you've just refunded, not cancelled the sale.

I didn't do anything. I wanted to refund but I got paid so I asked ebay why did they pay without me delivering.
I shouldn't have to pay the fee plus full refund. They will have to sort it out.

Now you have me confused. lol

No confusion required ...
I went with the original advice to REFUND with reason "problem with buyers address"
When I tried to do that I realised I was going to be 20 bucks out of pocket so I sent ebay a message outlining the problem. They have yet to respond.
But then Jelly bird post alerted me that there is another option to CANCEL not refund.
So I cancelled the sale and will get a credit for the fee and return the money they paid.
The question still remains ... why was I paid the night of the same sale day, without any information about having handed the item over? Usually it takes a few days and ebay wants some proof that it was given to the buyer. May be I have a trustworthy face?

Beejeebus - still confused.
You cancelled.
It stands to reason - the item was not ' handed over ' - and if not ' handed over ' - what proof is needed from the buyer.
