Defects due to stupid buyers.... this is driving me batty

I generally avoid looking at the seller dashboard these days. It's not good for my mental health!

Some defects are my fault. The stain on the inside of the board shorts last month? Totally my fault, I missed it, buyer refunded and defect copped. The 'skirt' which actually turned out to be a very, very full pair of culottes a few months ago? My fault, buyer refunded. I'll cop those, no problem.

But, the lady who buys a CROP TOP, which is photographed on a MANEQUIN which shows it finishes much higher than a standard top, and then hits me with an item not as described because 'it's smaller than it should be, it must be a kids size 10'. NO it's NOT a kids size 10, it's an adults CROP TOP, clearly described in both title, description AND photographed with physical reference!

Or the people who buy second hand items, then complain that, my goodness, you mean they're ACTUALLY second hand? Flannellette begins pilling from the first wash, netted items easily get very minor pulls, these are natural changes in the fabric which should be expected on any second hand item (and are usually photohgraphed anyway, just in case, not that these people bother to look at the close up photos where relevant). Then I cop defects because the pair of kids flannellette pyjamas had minor (and photographed in listing) pilling, or the netted top had a couple of single link pulls. You want new items, go pay $30 or $40 for new items. You want items for $6-$10? Then expect it to have light wear, and show signs of that consistent with the fabric. Or, heck, just read the damn description and look at the CLOSE UP photos displaying the exact level of pilling!

Buyers are driving me mad....

I just can't get over the lady who bought a crop top, and then complained it was too short, that is just classic....

Buyers have just got awfully stupid in a big hurry or they just don't bother to read the descriptions or even look at photos anymore. I have a doozie I am dealing with at the moment. I want it, no wait I want 2, no I don't, what colour is it, no i don't want it, yes I do want it, aggghhh so I have made up their mind for them they are not getting it now. I think ebay have made it all too easy for buyers to take no responsibility at all.

My best was about 2 weeks ago (on another ID) ...

I am just gob smacked at how simple / stupid some people really are.
My ebay listing says - Free Post anywhere in Australia. I get an email asking - How much is post to NSW. I reply - as stated in listing - postage is free anywhere in Australia.

I  got a reply ..... How stupid are you - I want to know how much to post to NSW - is that so hard to understand ?

I kid you not !!!

And to the OP ... I feel ya pain ... I have the same problems with this biased defect system .
