I have had my first request for post to Canada.. I can send for $15 non registered or $21 registered.
In Australia I usually send with signature or Tracking except for cheaper and small postage items.. that obviously would not sell if I charged post with signature.
Can more expereinced sellers, who sell to overseas buyers, please let me know if they usually send registered or not
thanks so much

Ask Lyndal. She has rellos in Canada.
But, from what I've read, Canadians tend to post surface (ship) mail and it can take months. Savvy Canadians (in the South, at least) find it better and cheaper to cross the border and post in the US. Which probably says all that's needed about Canada's postal service.

@amber-eyed-girl wrote:Digi, I was told that all airmail from Canada was tracked, and that it was only surface that was not. Is this not true?
Canada mail seems to be very similar to Aus Post with their services, and if I'm buying small, lightweight items which go by airmail (approx. equivalent to a large letter here), then apparently it's insured but not trackable. The options I'm provided for parcels are limited, though - surface or express, both of which are supposedly insured and trackable.

Yes...and I Asked each seller to get trackable shipping. And paid for it. As I always do for international parcels. So Canada is now a definite no-buy zone for me.
