It's about 18 cm long, both ends screw off and has three round plastic circles on it.

TIA

Does anyone know what this is?

I'm 90% certain it's part of a towel hanger?

It's only part of a hanger and the missing part is the part that connects to a wall.

So you take an end bit off and then slide the wall mount part onto it put the end back on and hang a face washer on it or perhaps there might be another connection that screws on to make it even longer?

A well know great mind has mentioned to me that it might be a dolls house curtain rod?

And I think he might be right.

It's certainly the same shape, but why would mine have detachable ends and be hollow? And the plastic things? Again, not disagreeing, just showing my ignorance. Woman Very Happy

I agree with the theory that it's a Bodhran Tipper.

Maybe it can be filled with something to change the tone of the note?

Plastic thingies for grip?

Apparently there are different grips used.

Just wondering how the hell it could've gotten into my linen cupboard. No drummers in our family or friends.

Thought maybe one of the little grandies could have put it there, but if they did, their mothers don't recognise it.
