I am doing a stocktake of my CDs listed on eBay. I followed the instructions and downloaded a report which was supposed to show all my active listings. I was surprised to find that not all of the CDs which are shown as being active on eBay when I click on Active appear in the downloaded report. Is there a limit on the number of items which can be listed in a downloaded report?
I have just looked at my Excel database and found that the CDs which do not appear in the downloaded report are all items I listed on 1st October, five days ago. Is there a waiting period between the time an item is listed and the time it is included in a download?

Can't help, sorry. I keep my own records of what stock I have, and where it is listed.

Admittedly I don't have 148 listings. Only 12 times that. Who'd a thunk that somebody could manage 1900 listings without needing eBay reports.

I maintain my own database of what I have active, what has sold, etc. but I also have three Discogs accounts and a second eBay account. I sometimes lose track of my progress so, every so often, I do a stocktake. I am still hoping for an answer my question: why does a download of active listings not include all listings which are active?

Can't help, as noted. I don't rely on downloading anything from eBay.

Maybe ask Discogs if that's where your issue is???

No, that's not it. eBay and Discogs are not connected in any way. By rights the download should include all active items on eBay.

It's of no help to you, but I just ran one and it showed all my active items, including a few I put up 24 hours prior. Maybe jump onto live chat and ask there

I just had another go at downloading a list of my active items and once again found that the list contained only 118 listings rather than the actual 147. I have not been able to work out how to fnd eBay's Live Chat.

Go to the top of the page click on "ebay help", pick an option that applies to you then scroll to the bottom and click on "contact us".
