Hi, just sharing in case anyone has experienced this but my account was restricted a few weeks ago due to owning a payment apparently. I Initially received a message from ebay saying that I had own money to them but ignored as I have had auto payouts for 5 years now.
- 3 days later account was restricted. Checked to see if I could make a manual payment and turns out I owe $0, so can't make any payments whatsoever. eBay chat member said it was an error and restriction was lifted.
- 2 days later account get's restricted again. eBay chat member says i owe 27cents. I pay them through a link and restriction is lifted. Was told that it would not happen again now.
- 2 days later restriction again. This time all listings are removed also, (countless hours of work, money, and years for listing history gone). Chatted with same person and explained the situation but they told me as long as I owe money, I'll keep getting suspended after 30 days (This annoyed me a lot because she had told me the other day that it was fine and it wouldn't happen again). After that she said i need to wait and see what happens.
- Called customer service and they gladly helped me sort this out. Turns out I was owning a payment from 5 years ago of 67cents that hadn't gone through the system. Send them 1 dollar this time to make sure it was covered and account was put back to running. They also mentioned that listings were on database and could be relisted. Next day I tried to re-list but button wouldn't work (listings were not found).
- Called again 3 days later and they said they would sort it out > Account reinstated again.
- Again, 2 days later restricted and so forth. This is going on for around a month now, close to 7-8 times. No money owed whatsoever. All automatic payments (3 in fact) running as always. Tried removing them and re-adding them again. Nothing.
Asked whether they have another department that can help but was told that this time would be the last. Ebay simply does not give a damn about you. Just the robot-like responses as always from them. Unsure on what to do now.
Any chance someone went trough the same and was able to solve it?

27c sounds like the non refundable fixed fee for a cancelled transaction.
Just wondering if it has anything to do with you selling protective masks, by listing as costume masks under category clothing shoes & accessories - costumes - costume accessories.
The manner of listing would tend to indicate, an attempt circumvent policies implemented for masks etc, if ebay removed such listings and you have relisted them, then restrictions to your account will be applied.

I have never owned anybody money, so I can't help. Nor have I ever sold products through shonky categories, nor forgotten my primary school English.

Nothing to do with that. Specific listing was taken down by mistake by eBay in the past and went through it with customer support at the time. They had mentioned that it was ok to run.
As mentioned above, this is in regards to a payment issue being experienced. Even the automatic messages state that.

Got suspended again today just now:
You have an outstanding amount owed for eBay fees. Because you owe eBay, your eBay account has been suspended. To resolve this issue and continue selling, you need to pay the amount you owe immediately.
Please log into your eBay account to make a one-time payment and bring your account up-to-date.
If you've already paid your eBay fees, please disregard this message.
Found a thread with postage stamps in the UK where someone was experiencing same issue. They have not posted a solution there however (Pretty sure it was going on for them for more than a month from what is written).
Unsure, waiting on another reply from ebay again. Might also call them and ask for manager contact.

For whatever reason it would seem further action has been taken against your account.
Last night you still had 4 active listings, they are now gone. Also last night your recently sold items were accessable, but now just get the Sorry we looked everywhere page, which does not look good.

I noticed many of your items start with a brand name and if they are not genuine you should have "for" before the brand name.

*In regards to the product brands, we're a design firm so brands are actually ours. We've been through all possibilities so far and everything seems to be pointing to ebay payments.
- Just an update here: Got in touch with Phone support and was told that there's a owed amount stuck somewhere most likely. However they can not find it and the only team that can resolve it is the Global finance team at resolve@ebay.com. Sent them an email but email address is inactive and mail was returned.
- Followed with Chat service, informed them of the details and asked for the "Global email address". Person on the other end ignored my question and reinstated my account instantly. He promised that account won't get suspended again as he'll write down a note.
This is not new, others have already done the exact thing for me with no success. I'll try removing Payout details and re-submitting before listing just in case. *fingers crossed.

Have a vague recollection of an instance, where the debt related to a previous or related account.
