Ebay adjusts DSRs in seller's favour sometimes...

I just got an email from eBay explaining that they:

'took the following actions to benefit your seller performance record:
-Removed low detailed seller ratings
 -Item as described: 1
 -Communication: 1
Note that these removals were the result of patterns identified by eBay's
detection systems and/or cumulative reports from you and other sellers.
They may be related to transactions that occurred any time over the past
several months.

We excluded low detailed seller ratings or cases you got during this
evaluation period simply because they were left by too few buyers.'

I must admit, this is nice. But it does make me wonder who gave me those DSRs, and why they would give me positive feedback if there was such a problem?

Anyone know how to tell who leaves what DSRs? I know it's supposed to be anonymous, but there might be some trick to it.

Hi JHOS,

I am with cat's - terms of endearment (if truly intended in the first place to be sincere 😉 )

are a bit OTT for the boards, to the point of being condescending. Of course this is JMO sweetness. :-x

The OP wanted to know how come left low DSR but a positive comment. I have only seen a couple of answers as to this question, the rest has disintegrated into a pissing match.

Digital I wasn't referring to any of your comments

Discussion topic is about DSRs - the OPs post raises a range of issues about DSRs and rating process.

In relation to your posts some are reportable as the:

All good, I was just putting it out there anyways....partly to further clarify my stance on the DSRs as a whole so that the convo didn't go on to move in a circular motion. 😛
