Ebay are "helping" you by automatically checking the boxes for you.
When you list an item there is a box near the price box that asks if you will accept offers. You will need to uncheck this. Ebay also helpfuly add the postage cost, based on your last listing. This is really handy if your last item was for overseas buyers with $9.50 postage and the new item weighs 5 kg. So once again you need to be carefull with the postage cost boxes. The same rule applies for multiple quantities. This box needs to be scrutinised every time as it will be auto filled in based on your last listing.
The Woolies thing is an opt out service. I recieved a message months ago through ebay messages asking me if I wanted to add the woolies pick-up to my listings. The automatic option was to opt in and I had to uncheck the box to opt out. I dont know how you get out of it now. Some-one else might know. Ebay recently sent a questionaire asking me why I had chosen to opt out. They obviously are trying to get more sellers to offer the Woolies option. Personally I think it just adds another layer to the system, and something else to go wrong. The care factor for Woolies employees for ebay pick-ups would be fairly low.
