Ebay Australia's switch over to managed payments (for my business) is a major impediment not a benefit.
I am a seller who uses my paypal funds received from sales (on a near daily basis) to send payments across the globe primarily for business.
Under the new Ebay managed payments, I will now have to wait up to 2+ business days to now have my sales funds deposited into my bank account from Ebay (maybe another business day before the inefficient banks here process the payment) & then will have to process another transfer back to Paypal (Another 5+ business days) - I now have no other option around this after numerous chats/calls to Ebay customer service/accounts trying to opt out of managed payments or seek an alternative. The current system works well for me, even if I have to pay a higher cost.
As a seller, I personally couldn't care less about Paypal's spin off from Ebay & the 'business rift' that has developed between the two but there has to been an alternative (Hyperwallet etc) or some businesses will suffer from this narrow minded approach & could potentially leave the platform - is this in Ebay's interest?

Um I have an issue with this as all fees are being taken out of sales instantly so the only other fee is for my store so there isn't any invoices that I should be receiving or paying for as there isn't any new activity yet to be invoiced?

Well that's pretty sneaky - hiding the fee rises.

Just wish I knew how to get a little web site organized, have no idea, but know I will have to make changes, take care everyone 🙂
If you are seriously cnsidering a website have a look at Wix.com - really easy to use, an amazing tutorial to lead you through, and very little knowledge of coding needed, also has factored in SEO so for a beginner it is brilliant.

Correct.
eBay has always shown new activity. Which is fees incurred since the last invoice. Always has been. If you are not incurring fees, new activity won't change.
There are people who actually look at issues and those who are resistant to change and look for phantom issues. Like rake.

I have a new issue, my account has been placed on hold because I haven't paid this months invoice which isn't due until the 15th - 17th March which gets automatically debited through PayPal so I need to pay it immediately so no further restrictions get applied to my account, this has given me a sick feeling as there has been so many issues happening all week.

If you have available funds, use those. Automatic Paypal payments seem to be a thing of the past. You would have agreed to eBay/Adyen debiting your bank account, though.

This is the last invoice before going onto MP and for some reason ebay wants it paid immediately even though it's due on the 15/3 I'll pay it tomorrow but I don't understand why it just didn't get processed when it was due and placing my account on hold that's what I can't see why ebay would do that?

I think they may have bitten off more than they can chew with all the changes. They sem to be chasing thier tail with a lot of issues arrising in a lot of area's during all this MP business.
In a perfect world, all eBay accounts should have been calculated and finalised by 28th Feb, [regardless of the date you normally pay]. They have had long enough to have organised this and to have advised sellers of the final date for payment as being 28/2 from Paypal, rather than shutting you down in the change over period.
They are an enornous company, and I can imagine the amount of peopel/work involved, but you would think they could have streamlined it better.
I really feel sorry for sellers at the moment

It's like you're now on MP but we're sorry we didn't tell you that you have to pay your debt to us first before you can keep trading with us.
We want it right now or else.
MP fees taken instantly ok I knew that but to include last months pre MP invoice in this scenario and unless it's paid we'll block your selling, c'mon how's that fair?
Why did I think this was going to be smooth sailing silly me.
