Editing the Store header

I am trying to edit the store header, can you only do this by html now?

When I last edited it you could do it the easier way instead of the html rubbish

If I created text - different sizes and colours in Word, can that be pasted in to the html text box and come up as it should?

Re: Editing the Store header

I know nothing about HTML lol. Only way I can think of is to use a Description Builder in Turno lister and save it, then copy/paste it from the main box where the HTML is into the store header

Re: Editing the Store header

Nothing wrong with using Turbo Lister provided you are able to produce what you desire to display.

Using Word, however, would be more complicated as it does not produce standard HTML -- might not look the same when viewed with popular web browsers like FireFox.

A fun way to avoid HTML (almost) entirely is to create an image for display as the header.  You can use Word to produce something with much more elaborate formatting than can be done using HTML.  Then take a screen shot (screen capture) of it using a photo/graphics editor to get it into an image file.  Upload that file to a web host such as PhotoBucket and use the HTML provided by PhotoBucket to display it in the header.

Irfanview, a free to download and use image software, is available at http://www.irfanview.com includes a screen capture utility.  Anything showing on your computer screen can be captured into an image using the utility.  Also includes a crop selection to remove surrounding content to produce the finished result.

Hope this helps,

Rob
