FURTHER TO "buy it now" ebay has it both ways.

Contacted Res Centre re 'buy it now"(BIN).

1/ BIN with PayPal(PP) introduced to cover sellers from dodgy buyers.

2/ BIN without PP,buyer "may have their own reasons" as to why they do not pay immediately... and ....the buyer is misusing the BIN feature by doing so, does knowingly misusing the BIN mean dishonesty..yes.

3/ eBay advises all to inspect where possible before sale,so do I.

Decided to put my boat back on once more WITH PP.

Guess what, 3 offers and no dishonest manipulation of the BIN by ending the sale and blocking honest bidders/eBayers.

None of us understands the OP Foxy and the thread makes less and less sense as it goes on due to the button pushers.

that just gave me a brilliant idea. I'll invent slap padding sell it here and make a fortune. People will have to come and inspect them first though then go home pay with paypal then come and pick it up coz you know.... its safer that way

I have previously stated that I always use PP when buying, if offered. PP was not used on this transaction.Once again I am being warned of this evil system that I didn't use. And I thought we had found a little peace here.

I had to indicate whom my post was directed to here lyndal as patchoo thinks I am directing something their way when I was answering pj. I only told patchoo that the OR stands corrected.

These posts attract people that just have to join in.
