FVF not showing on sell page anymore

I made a listing this morning and noticed that the "you will be charged a final value fee" line does not tell you what the fvf is now. 

I can work it out for myself, but always found it handy to have it on display. 

I wonder if it's a glitch or because ebay don't actually want you to see the fvf now that the new fees have come in?

Has anyone else noticed this?

You are right I just went in a listing to revise to check and you are right it comes up as
Total AU $0.00
cool no fees I like it.

Thanks - glad to know it's not just me lol. I guess it will get fixed - will just have to wait and see.

Maybe ebay is too ashamed to show it as of today 6th may 2014 ?

They might do away with it showing what they would be now as they might not know the final figure as postage has

to be calculated into the FVF's.

That means postage that can't be calculated up front such as combined,reduced,etc. can not be included,

(hence why they don't show it up front)

I have contacted live chat just now and i am as MAD as hell they have removed the final value fees from the listings THIS IS WRONG!!! JUST LIKE THERE RIP OFF FVF FEE!!!  AND LOW SALES!!!  

Our products are hidden and NOW our fees RIP OFF!!!!!!!!

You would think instead of removing it entirely they would leave it and put + FVF on postage or similar.

If postage is included on the listing why can't they give an estimate?

I noted Discount Party Supplies are gone!! Left there store to drive traffic to there web site BUT its empty!! Biggest Party Supplier here! WAS!! OUCH!! Thats gotta hurt hahahaha!!

This is just the start ot the fall hope to see more BIG guys leaving to push this company into looking after the people who provide there bread and butter 

Its Disgusting hiding fees I URGE EVERYONE complain to ACCC about the unfair practices going on here. Postage grab is WRONG! We have Tape, Envelopes, Bubble Wrap, Satchel Bag Fees and more to cover PLEASE VOICE YOUR COMPLAINT!! 

AND i hate it i am FORCED TO OFFER FREE SHIPPING or no ones buys from me all sellers need to stick together and NOT offer FREE postage there is little or NO profit....

You are NOT being forced to offer free postage at all. You are still allowed to list with separate postage prices, and many sellers are still doing precisely that.

Most astute buyers still search via Price + postage as opposed to best match anyway, so I doubt it'll make much difference at all in the long term.

Sorry i am FORCED OR NO SALES....Go and check out a lot of sellers charging postage you will see most havent made sales since January. I USE to have postage fees i made very slow sales NOW with Free shipping sales improved not huge but more, all items i have with Shipping cost NOT selling! Problem is because of little profit margin to offer good FREE shipping you need to greatly inflate your prices its a no win.

I was selling SAME item as another seller mine is $12.95 including shipping other seller selling for $16.95 FREE SHIPPING HAS SOLD HEAPS me none!

Buyers will click that FREE button and YOUR OUT!!!! 

I have just lodged a complaint with the ACCC about ebays recent announcement that it intends to charge a commission on postage ( a service it does not provide ).  I would encourage all other ebayers to do the same. It is important to mention ebays TOTAL DOMINENCE of the online auction and sales market in Australia and the way that it is exploiting that dominence to charge commisions on a service IT DOES NOT PROVIDE ie. postage. . The process is very simple and only took a few minutes. Just google ACCC and follow the prompts. The ACCC does not act on individual complaints, but uses the total number of complaints as a reference on where to put its resources. ie. The more complaints against a single company, the more likely it is to act. If you feel strongly about the recent ebay announcement, PLEASE SPEND THREE MINUTES NOW TO GOOGLE ACCC AND LODGE A COMPLAINT.
