False Guidence In eBay Forums.
It has come to my attention that people in this forum most tend to give false advice and or just simply what they think is correct.
Use your brain people.
Ask customer service via the customer service tab top right hand corner of your screen if you have any serious inquiries.

Se the bit under my postas about dancing in the rain? That is the signature. You could put something about common sense there and not have to keep typing it. ๐

Ah Excellent, see i was right when people talk to you with out attitude you can learn some things off some people in here.
Thanks. ๐
But do you think maybe? Just a Question.
people may not know, not saying intentionally, but i think people may ask questions the wrong way to, when they ask customer service, what do you think taking into consideration below.
Define the HANDLING in Postage and handling.
I mean why really does eBay want to try cut out postage fees altogether, in listings. idk when it comes to that side not to familiar with the changes, still familiarizing with eBay it's to be honest.
Not sure how many posts i have left either ๐
Fingers crossed

Im not sure. Many of the CS staff do not have great English skills and they have ready prepared answers to many questions which they C&P in, so sometimes you get a completely different reply to what the question was. There is also no recourse if the info giving is found to be wrong down the track.
'handling' has always been tricky. It should cover any packaging and post preparation costs but remember that it doesn't really matter what ebay say is the correct amount for handling. Buyers are the one who will either look at your listing and say "no chance" or perceive it to be good value... And then after they receive their item, they will also look at the P&H amount they paid compared to what it cost you to send the item and leave feedback accordingly.
Many buyers prefer to see "free postage". The postage is of course not free but built in to the start cost. Items like yours that can be sent easily as large letter rates are perfect for listing with 'free' post.
Why not try some at say $12.99 or $14.99 with free post and see what the results are?

your exactly right the-kazbar (11717)
My Mrs and i were exactly right.
we spoke about this too.
I think alot of it depends on what you sell and how much you can get it for.
And most important how much you try adding extra to your products even if you put it as free postage and handling.
but yes we have deffinately considered what your saying thats for sure.
People love Auction format for some reason how ever.
Thrill i guess.
If you honest with how much you can afford you should not have any thing to worry about, i don't rip people off.
I charge what is fair for quality and price.
I have good suppliers and (still missing a BIG order) but hoping paypal will help there.
More coming and for what other people charge for items that look exactly the same.
My mrs and i are by far no where near the most expensive Australian Sellers of our items kind
